Ruben Amorim filmed blasting Man Utd player in dugout vs Bournemouth | Football
Ruben Amorim’s angry reaction towards Leny Yoro in the Manchester United dugout was captured by a supporter during the 4-4 draw with Bournemouth on Monday night.
In a thrilling game at Old Trafford, United took a 4-3 lead through Matheus Cunha with 11 minutes remaining but Amorim’s side were unable to hold on as Eli Junior Kroupi’s neat finish from close range rescued a draw for Bournemouth.
The result leaves United sixth in the Premier League, while after the game, Amorim made it clear he was unhappy with his defensive unit after Bournemouth snatched a point late on.
‘I think we are pressing better, we are controlling better the game far from our goal. We are lacking quality when we defend our goal. It’s something that we need to address, of course,’ Amorim said in his post-match press conference.
‘I think it’s different when you suffer so many goals and the opponent doesn’t have the same amount, not even near, that we create, it’s really frustrating. But we need to work a lot in the way we defend the box.’

However, footage has now emerged of Amorim singling out Yoro for criticism to his United coaching staff during the game against Bournemouth.
In the clip, Amorim was seen returning to his seat with his arms outstretched before shouting in Portuguese: ‘The game has gone on for half an hour, what is Lenny doing?’
Earlier this month, Amorim claimed Yoro ‘thinks to much’ after the 20-year-old looked disconsolate on the bench after he was substituted in the 54th minute during the 2-1 win away to Crystal Palace.
‘I also spoke with him because he thinks too much. He makes a mistake in the game and then he struggles because he’s too young and he wants to do everything so well. He’s growing with games and with setbacks, it’s not easy for him as a young guy,’ Amorim said.
‘He cannot give that [reaction] to the people, the way he came to the bench. He understands that but he was really frustrated. It shows he cares.
‘He knows it wasn’t his best game but he did some things well and I showed him that. He’s fit and ready for the next challenge.’
