On Friday, November 28th, this journalist had the opportunity to dine at Barrotta Supper Club in Huntington on Long Island, New York.
Appetizers

One’s culinary journey begins with appetizers. For starters, their “Fritto Misto” consists of crispy calamari, zucchini, lemon cherry peppers and house sauce, and their “Crab Cake” is just as memorable with watercress salad, charred tomatoes and accompanied with chipotle aioli.

Pasta
Pasta lovers will find their “Truffle Cacio e Pepe” to be a real treat. It consists of winter truffle, bucatini, locatelli romano and butcher cracked pepper.

Seafood
By the same token, their “Seared Tuna” is delightful. The tuna meat is tender and it comes with sweet pea puree, diced asparagus slices, snow pea beurre fondue, and chili crisp. This is certainly one of the highlights of the menu.

Side Dishes
Notable side dishes are their crunchy “Truffle Fries” and their healthy “Roasted Brussels Sprouts,” which are sheer bliss. These are the quintessential side dishes for any entrée.

Desserts

At the Barrotta Supper Club, one ought to leave some room for dessert. Their “Cheesecake” (topped with various berries) and “Chocolate Cake” are both creamy and scrumptious respectively.

The Verdict
Overall, Barrotta Supper Club, situated in the heart of Huntington Village, has a warm, cozy, and pleasant ambiance to it.
The live music helps elevate the dining experience to a higher level as it creates a speakeasy vibe. The presentation of all of their dishes are artistic, creative, and stunning.
The wait staff of this family-owned Italian restaurant is courteous and attentive to the patrons’ needs. There is a rawness and intimacy to Barrotta Supper Club like no other.

It is highly recommended that one checks out Barrotta Supper Club the next time they are on Long Island; they will definitely not be disappointed. It has a nostalgic, funky, retro vibe to it, which will resonate with its patrons.
This eatery is a fine example of the Italian-American cuisine, and it garners an A rating. Bon Appétit.
